IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.
The IELTS exam is needed for non-native English speakers to enter a British University. Exams are held in locally 2 to 3 times every month in the summer and once a month all other times.
Most University courses require an IELTS score of 6.5 or above. Please contact your prospective university to check on the IELTS level needed. The examination fee from 2008 is £100 per candidate.
IELTS classes at ISE will be delivered to learn specific exam techniques and can be integrated into your existing study timetable. This way, you'll be able to improve your level of English whilst preparing for the IELTS exam at the same time.
We have an excellent record of success for our students in the IELTS exam.
