ISE Accreditation

The ISE schools' British Council accreditation gives an independant indication of the quality of English teaching throughout the school from our academic expertise, to the care we take over our students' welfare. ISE is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language. To obtain accreditation, the school must comply with strict regulations relating to school premises and facilities, teacher qualifications, teaching quality, administration and welfare. ISE are regularly visited by British Council inspectors.

ISE is an official teacher training centre for the University of Cambridge, offering CELTA, CELTYL, YL Extension and TKT for teachers of English in the UK and overseas (mostly in China, Iran and Libya). Through high standards of teacher-training and professional development, ISE looks to continually develop better teaching methodology and practice.

ISE also prepares students for all levels of Cambridge ESOL exams such as First Certificate (FCE) and Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE) as part of the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate.

As an accredited exam centre for the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), ISE offers recognized courses in Business English which have established a global reputation. LCCI qualifications focus students on the language essential for today's commercial environment.
