All trainers must meet strict criteria in order to be accepted as University of Cambridge ESOL Trainers. Assessor status is only conferred to trainers with sufficient experience and academic background to assess and moderate University of Cambridge ESOL Courses all over the world.

Christine-Reba Edge: Academic Director: CELTA & CELTYL Assessor, ISI Inspector

Christine has been Academic Director of ISE Hove since 2006. Previously she ran teacher training and ESOL courses as Head of Department at Westminster College, London. Christine is an UCLES Assessor for CELTA and CELTYL programmes, she regularly assesses teacher training courses both in the UK and overseas. She is also a registered ISI inspector and assesses all aspects of school operations as part of the inspection cycle.

Robert is an experienced and professional trainer working within TEFL for over 20 years. Robert has worked in the UK and overseas, teaching English at all levels from Beginner to Advanced. Since 2002 Robert has worked as a CELTA trainer in England at Intensive School of English - ISE Hove and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to each CELTA cohort.

Elena Pushkareva: CELTA Trainer

Elena specialises in teaching English to basic literacy learners and is leading a 'complete beginner' class, working on letter shape formation, word shape recognition and reading/writing literacy. She is a CELTA teacher trainer and delivers various input sessions as well as using IWBs and QR codes for interactive lessons in the context of blended learning.
